Fading Asia is Marco’s first book, a journey through Asia and its disappearing traditions and landscapes. It is collection of pictures taken in Asia over 13 years, from the temples of Bagan to the alleys of Bangkok, Kendō practicing in Nikko and morning alms in Luang Prabang. Silence, chaos, colors, abandoned pagodas, Geisha, street food vendors and frozen landscapes.

Mono no aware is Marco’s personal tribute to Japan. More than 100 pictures taken in Japan over 14 years, from the beaches of Okinawa to the fields of Hokkaido, Geisha and Maiko from Kyoto, snow-covered landscapes and sake distilleries, local markets and traditional festivals. Modern and disappearing Japan. With Mono no aware Marco tried to convey all the emotions that he experienced since he moved to this beautiful country.

In a Previous Life is a celebration of street photography in Hong Kong and Macau.
Marco learned the power of street photography during his first trip to Hong Kong in 2008, right before he started his new life in Japan. The alleys of Hong Kong and Macau offer endless opportunities to capture the essence of us humans, our journey through the difficulties of life and our dreams.
